1388 –                        Hugh Fraser of “Corntown” witnesses a Charter in favour of John Fraser of Forglen.

1440 –                        King James II recoups the charter from John Fraser.

1467 –                        Poverty in Cornton; King provides sustenance.

1525 –                        Janet Sinclair is born.
