Cornton – Our Story

The 1940 Valuation Roll lists a “Factory” at “Bridgehaugh Road” owned by the trustees of Isobel C. Lamb, 4 Major’s Place Falkirk and tenanted by “Stirling Ice Company”. There is no indication of which particular building in Bridgehaugh this was, but there were only two commercial properties in that area at the time- the farmsteading itself and the Mill Building.
