Cornton Nursery is run by Stirling Council. The nursery is open for 48.2 weeks each year and can cater for up to 110 children. Full day care is available for a limited number of children.
This nursery offers free childcare places for eligible 2-year-olds.
In 2013 Stirling Council acquired sufficient ground to create a Nursery Provision at Lomond Crescent while at the same time extending the playground and classroom facilities at the local Primary School.
The purchase of Lomond Crescent cost £151,000, with work to convert the Lomond Crescent building into a new nursery costing £390,000, while the conversion of the existing nursery at Cornton Primary School to provide additional learning and teaching spaces cost £215,000.
The nursery building was upgraded in 2021 and provides high-quality, flexible childcare space.
